I don’t care what anyone says, the only jeans that make your bum look like luscious muffins without the tops are J. Brand Love Story jeans. I’m serious, they are sooooooo flattering that I bought three pairs last year and they are still my favorite. They are low in the front but a bit higher in the back so you don’t get the spill over that is so unattractive. And by the way, any jeans that last more than 3 months with me are keepers. Especially the lightweight pair above, which are fabulous in the heat but will be just as great in the dead of winter. Now what other clothing can you say that about??? Long live jeans and long live love stories!!!!

Do you get them shortened and, if so, how do you deal with the fact that they are cut for someone who’s much taller with correspondingly longer legs? I am only 5′ tall and this is a perennial problem for me.
You can take them to a seamstress and tell them you want a jean hem. My sister is 5′ tall and she does this all the time.
Hi mq- Lori is right. I do it all the time. I ask for the original jean hem. They re-attach the hem so it looks great.
Also- I always get a 30″ inseam and wear really high heels so my legs look really long
I am 5′ tall too but there are lots of tricks to appear elongated! xo

I’ve been considering the Lovestory for almost a year, but still too afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone of skinny jeans;) I would have to order them online, so do they run true to size? If I’m a sz 25 in both J brand’s skinny (910) and pencil (912), should I then get the Lovestory in the same size?

I find them to fit true to size. I am also a size 25 and they fit perfectly. They have a nice stretch and are forgiving!
Skinny jeans are hard to give up since they show off shoes so well but flared jeans make me look taller since I make them so long!
