No I’m not talking about some goth attack! Lace, leather, and latex bottoms are totally going to be the skinny jeans of the fall. While designers like Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano have used the materials in both their womenswear, menswear, and couture collections in the past few seasons (for Chanel and Dior respectivly), it wasn’t till recently that lace, leather and latex leggings and skirts have invaded the streets of LA and NYC. Leading the pack is Kova & T (check-out the uber stylish Rachel Bilson at a Kova & T Cocktail Party at Chateau Marmont in LA above!). These look like they would be hard to pull-off, but latex is actually great for keeping in any bulges! I love these bottoms for their versatility. I’ve been wearing the latex and lace (how New Wave 80s/Madonna..love it!), with loose-fitting white tees and sky-high pumps and it’s total casual but o-so-edgy-chicness! Though it does get a little hot in the latex….perhabs I can suggest waiting till the weather cools off before trying these-out:) Check-out some of my fav Kova & T pieces below!
