I am obsessed with these shoes but have a problem with d’orsay style shoes as they always slip off my heel. I’ve tried the anti-slip stickers on the back but they don’t work for me! I end up staying in my seat or standing in one place to avoid walking. But that doesn’t work when I’m in NYC where walking is the only way to get places sometimes (I once had to walk 15 blocks to a black tie event in my Louboutins because I couldn’t find a cab!). So what do you think? Should I get these anyway, do like Tim Gunn says and “Make it work!”?!?!? At Barneys New York.com

Tina, you will be far better off buying a pair of fab Balenciaga shoes-these always, always slip of feet, it’s just the same for me.
I know, sadly I have to let these pass….
Tina-have you tried the cushions under the ball of the top of the foot. I also have a dorsey manolo blahnik shoe and I had to only walk a block and my foot kept coming out. I bought the cushions from my shoe repair and they do help.
Hi Lori, I have those cushions, doesn’t work for me. I have tried everything! My scrawny heels don’t even stay in full pumps.
I am relegated to mostly sling back shoes and mary jane styles so the strap holds my foot in. In the winter I am a boot girl.
Thanks for the tip though!
these shoes are beautiful. but function over form does apply here, especially if it means your foot is falling out of the shoe! i am sure you will find another pair of silver shoes to lust over =)
I can’t keep my feet in shoes like these either:( and I know it and buy them anyway and I always end up feeling embarrassed when I awkwardly walk very concentrated on my feet!
