One of my favorite past times is shopping with girlfriends and giving each other no holds barred honest opinions. So I thought we'd have a little fun and vote on everyone's favorite outfits on Fridays! Since I am starting this-- I will go first, risk ridicule and let you all vote on my favorite outfit of the week. Please send us a photo of you or your friends in your favorite outfit of the week by Thursday of each week if you want to join in the fun! Email us your photo here!

so, here I am, in my latest favorite dress from Rick Owens that I picked up from the cutest little boutique in Brentwood called Post 26. The space was originally a post office in the 1950's but now it stocks chic little dresses and the best jeans! Post 26 225 26th St. 310-451-0950 More Rick Owens here.

I wish you could see the back of this delicious little dress, it is brilliantly deconstructed as Rick Owens does so fabulously, the fabric swoops and lifts the bum, and the bandage top holds EVERYTHING in! The silk scarf is Burberry and the necklace is from Suzanne Wilson. So, be kind to me... what do you think?

  • Love it Tina but need to see the shoes too. Since you're using the scarf, lose the necklace (or vice versa).

  • love it! Fab dress, gorgeous on you!

  • Only you can carry that off! What a dress!

  • Tina...a while back you mentioned about sitting on a beach with one of your very tall blonde friends who tans well and you said you just don't! Yet you seem to have a lovely bronze glow is it real? or is it from a bottle/salon. Your skin looks fabulous!

  • I love! And the scarf and single big piece of statement necklace add to the outfit.

You glowing skin is all you need to finish off the look!

  • Hi Lottie, I got my "fake" tan from Bobbi Brown bronzing powder on my face, on my body I used L'oreal Sublime glow-- it's more natural than self tanner. It's a lotion with just a touch of self tanning agent in it so it doesn't streak!

Would love to see some of your photos, ladies :) xoxo

  • Hateeeee the tan, love the dress, scarf, necklace. I'm telling you girls 10 years down the line when you look at the shiny plastic-like faces you'll realize how ridiculous it is. Bah. The shiny thing ruins it all for me.

    • Hi Pri-- I feel the same way about tanning, mine is totally fake from bronzing powder :) The shine, unfortunately, is all mine and though I powder often, it does not help in this hot climate I live in! I am investigating oil free blotters and make up base right now on Beauty Snob... hope to find a solution soon.

  • Tina,
Love this dress! YOu look fab!

    xoxo

  • T~~You look Tres Chic!!

    B..xo

  • Tina, you look fab and you did the right thing using bronzers and lotions to achieve the sunkissed glow. I work for a dermatologist and can not tell you girls how many women I have treated with irreparable sun damage. For your shine, have you tried skinceuticals oil free lotion?

Beat to you, love all your sites.

  • I like the dress but the necklace is distracting. A standout bracelet would have been better. Sometimes a bare neck is better.

  • I am so over the bare neck, bring on the necklaces! Tina you look amazing, not everyone can pull off white without looking lumpy or bride-y. I love it and I love that you added your own touches and made the look a little less "light" as it is fall. Bravo!

  • The dress is gorgeous and you look amazing in it! However, I have to agree with the other posters that the accessories are a bit distracting... Maybe lose the scarf and wear a longer necklace? Also, can we see the purse and the shoes???

  • hate it

the scarf and the necklace together doesnt look good. dress your age.

  • I think the outfit would have been better without the necklace. I agree with the other "posters" in that it becomes distracting as opposed to necessary. I agree with Terri that perhaps a bracelet would have been a better choice? As for the "tan" issue. I'm about as fair as you can get and have dark features (eyes, hair), so I don't do the sun thing - ever. I think fair skin is and always will be a fashion statement in and of itself.

    Beautiful dress and scarf though!

  • Wow you look so preatty that dress is so cute hand it over i have a party coming up soon :)
