Geometry must have been on the minds of many designers while working on their spring 2009 collections, as we've discovered a plethora of prints that incorporate lines, shapes, and interlocking all over the place! Most designers opted for all over geometric prints (Basso & Brooke, Jaeger London), while others added just a streak of shapes or lines (Missoni), to take their look for minimalist to mega-chic. We are absolutely obsessed with the Acquascutum oversized shapes and color palette - cobalt blue and black feels so fresh -- while PPQ created a "topple effect" of architectural bars and Dries van Noten made us remember using graphing sheets sophomore year in high school via his towering, asymmetrical graphic sheath dress. Last, we have the Julien MacDonald skin-tight print collage of assorted thickness of lines, intersecting at a variety of angles - our most covetable geometric garment of the season!

Now that you know geometrics will be a huge hit for spring, don't hesitate and get the look now! Geometric dresses are key, so we were glad to find this flatteringShoshanna Brown Geometric Silk Tie-Front Strapless Dress ($210, Bluefly.com) and thePink Tartan Geometric Print Dress ($206, Saks Fifth Avenue). Also rounding out out must-have dress list is the abstract Geometric Chiffon Dress ($24.80, Forever 21) and the Pringle 1815 Geometric Pattern Dress ($192.50, NET-A-PORTER.com).

If you don't want to go big and bold with the prints, try for making just one item in your look carry the print - we recommend a top over a bottom due to the attention that it may draw. We found the Silk Geometric Kimono ($35.99 WhiteHouseBlackMarket) which has a slight art deco feel to it, and in case you want to go casual the Geo Yoke V Neck Tee ($28, Urban Outfitters) will certainly fit your needs, paired with some skinny jeans and oversized earrings.

Go for an accent piece instead with theBuffalo Plaid Square Scarf ($28, Urban Outfitters - we still consider plaid as a geometric!) or the perennial classic, the Emilio Pucci Geometric Print Scarf in Blue ($180, eLUXURY.com).

No matter what angle you take, geometric prints are a must-have for Spring 2009!
