Gold Rush - Herve Leger Alix Empire Dress

user-pic
hervegold.jpgI have no will power when it comes to the two H's. Hermes and Herve.  Seriously, if the fashion gods told me I could only wear Hermes and Herve for the rest of my life I wouldn't have a problem with that!

Yes, I know Max Azria now designs the collection but who cares, it's still as fabulous as it was in the height of its glory days in the late 80's (when I was in high school and dreamed of growing up and owning a closet full of Herve Leger dresses).  Now that I am grown up, I no longer have to dream, I just have to click and buy :)

I am also obsessed with everything metallic-- to shimmer is to glamour!  This gold Alix dress screams disco glam-- made of nude panels extravagantly covered in gold foil-- it reportedly weighs a ton which is actually a bonus, it will be like a work out when I wear it. I can get in my weight training and look fabulous doing it. What could be better? $1,450 at Intermix Online.
