Michelle Obama chose a pair of fab Jimmy Choo shoes to carry her into her new role as First Lady of the greatest nation on the planet. The JIMMY CHOO "GLACIER" PUMP is chic and elegant; just like the First Lady herself. Topped off by a dazzling gold sheath and matching coat by Isabel Toledo; the "Glacier" pump in understated dark green toned down the glitter-- a sensible choice indeed. We can't wait to see what Michelle dons for tonight's inaugural ball! Stay tuned!

I went through a lot of photos today to try and decide whether or not I liked this dress. I decided that it was probably not the best choice! It was kind of ugly and the green shoes just made even more ugly! Did not like it at all the more I looked!
Hi Tina, I usually like Mrs. Obama's style (both formal and casual). However, I was not in love with this outfit as much as I loved yellow/black lined outfit from Narciso Rodriguez Mrs Obama had on yesterday. I think this outfit is pretty but the lines were not clean when she moved, but i loved how she wore olive/green gloves with the outfit. While i love Jason Wu (and am so happy that Michelle Obama picked a Chinese/American designer), his white dress did not suit her body that well. The silhouette just didn't look right and off the shoulder look was not the most flattering look. The gown probably is more gorgeous in person.
On a side note, Mrs. Biden was very chic in her red coat and boots and also her strapless red ballgown.

The lines were not clean because the entire three layers were lined with pashmina. It was BITTER cold that day. She had nothing around her neck, and must have been quite cold by the end of the day.
I think the color was bright, fun and upbeat. Exactly what the country needs right now!
