Hussein Chalayan: eLuxury online exclusive!

If eLuxury is shutting its retail doors in June they certainly aren't showing it. With more amazing stock than ever, it's now boasting an exclusive line of Hussein Chalayan runway goods! I am intrigued by the 'One of a kind' combination scarf/dress- a sleek LBD wrapped in blue and white striped scarf and tucked with an invisible band across the neck-- this is a runway sample and there is only ONE! My only beef is the price, hello-- if this was in the showroom as a sample it'd cost half of what they're charging ($1000)

I am loving the white bonded jersey gillet top-- my favorite piece of the collection. Also from the runway and made of soft, flexible neoprene panels with a pillowy shawl collar, this is the type of top that you can wear with anything (even that frumpy secretary knee length skirt you've got in the back of the closet) and look smashing.

Even a pink striped t shirt in Chalayan's hands is piped, draped and puffed to avant garde proportions. The collection is fabulously chic but is it wearable? I'll report to you later when I try it on at a retail store. Check out the exclusive Hussein Chalayan collection here
