I promise I’m not obssessed with The Hills! I just happen to be surfing Net-a-Porter for a New Year’s dress and came across this 3.1 Philip Lim Multicolored Sequin Dress ($925) and I remembered watching The Hills finale and wondering where Lauren’s dress was from — well now I know! I thought LC looked super cute in the dress, though I imagine this is the kind of dress where even after a single wear snags and beads falling-off are inevitable. That said, for a lively cocktail party or a night on the town I think it’s wonderful. I would have loved to see Lauren have little more fun with the styling though — also her hair — cringe– it’s even worse than that side-front-braid thing she is always photographed with!
The dress is simply adorable
