In anticipation of Earth Day, Christian Louboutin makes good use of recycled trash from Barneys New York and laminates them on his iconic platform slingbacks. I love this idea, it’s a great way to wear, uh, trash. But hello? A thousand bucks for trash? And come to think of it, how eco-friendly is PVC?
The shoes are exclusive to Barneys (what, Neimans didn’t want Barneys’ trash?) and are available now for $995.
What say you my snobs? Snob or Slob?

SNOB!!! haha, I just absolutely love high platform Louboutins!
Reuse, recycle, but spend your thousand dollars on something more endurable, please! This looks like a fun DIY project to do with a pair of sandals from a high street fashion shop.
HI Elizabeth, I love Loubs, I love platforms, but hate those shoes though
