Why drive to Woodbury Commons and fight the insane crowds? I went there once and will never return again, it was a total nightmare! The hassle can all be avoided by shopping at the new Oscar de la Renta Outlet where everything is 70% off! And it's not old stuff from the '90s either, everything is from this past season. I have to admit it did hurt to see several of my dresses at 70% off when I paid full price. Ouch! The only solace is that none of them are in my size. Check out The Outlet here.

oscar went 70 off at the end of oct / nov. this is not a savings. many of the stores are already 50 off spring. we rely on you for good advice. you should maintain that reputation
Hi Jane,
They will be putting new pieces up soon, it's good to check back with The Outlet once in a while :)
Let's get the information straight. I remember ODLR's Prefall and Fall 09 collections going on sale at 50% off around November 20th, 2009. They did not go to 70% until a week before Christmas. And by the way any brand that is selling SS at 50% now is going bankrupt so hurry up and buy.

Most retailers breakeven at 75 off. Not 50. You also have to keep in mind that the deals are different for private customers, those that buy alot at full price, versus the advertised sales. Many of the design houses went 60 off on halloween in New York. I still contend that you if you love something buy the piece -- sale or no sale. You will enjoy it and that's worth the money. The problem is that some designers are anticipating the sales and inflating the original prices. You have to keep that in mind. For those designers who are not doing that, and there are many, don't hesistate to buy what you love and not wait for the sale. Especially, if you need it now
Tina, thanks for the post. Appreciate it. Also, Barneys has gone 25 off for private customers and Luca Luca is doing 50 off the final day of every month -- I assume that means they are 50 off going forward. And Missoni is doing deals too. 25 off the second item and 50 off the the third
Happy Shopping
