Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Jessica Alba have all fallen for Gerard Darel’s fringe sandals this spring. Each girl makes their springtime look unique with these shoes but I am not so sure anyone else can pull this off. It just looks so… odd! I love Gerard Darel bags and clothes and this is the first pair of shoes I’ve seen from them. I can see the bohemian appeal of the suede fringe and all and I’m sure it’s very comfortable but layers of fringe? Across the top of your foot? Too forward for me I guess. What about you, what do you think? Snob or Slob?
I’m actually LOVING! this new fringe trend on the feet—I can’t pull it off….but I will be buying a pair for my daughter.

I dont own a pair but I guess it can look cute with the right clothes. The ladies here are not making it work. I think.

Suede Fringe should have expired when the 80′s did.
UGH…Slob, definitely. I think these are just awful. I have yet to see any feet (celeb or otherwise) pull these off. It’s like encasing your feet in thick suede hair – yuck.
