What sad news-- Christian Lacroix sought court protection from creditors this week in order to save his atelier. The downtrend in luxury spending is hurting many wholesalers; Lacroix saw a 35% decrease last year in sales. Losses are at $14 million for the year. Hopefully the restructuring will help save them from their creditors. I've yet to purchase my first piece of Lacroix Haute Couture and that has always been my dream! As Edina from Ab Fab said, "

it's from his Spring Haute Couture collection-- you can still order :) I'm estimating it's $120,000 as Lacroix is less than some of the other Couturiers.
