I bought Manolo flats very similar to these at the beginning of last spring. They were worn to death last summer and is now making a comeback this year with very little wear and tear. Yes, the beauty of well made shoes! I can't wear heels all the time, my back just can't take it, but when wearing a fluttery breezy dress, what's a girl to do? Nothing looks more relaxed and chic than flat sandals. These aren't flip flops, even nice leather flip flops still have that sloppy, way too casual look and that is a no-no for nice luncheons and summer weddings. But these, yes, I wear mine to nice daytime events in comfort and style. And I think I am ready for another pair. The brown is nice but might be too heavy for summer dresses, the luggage however is perfect with everything - even white. At Bergdorf Goodman for $565. But wait, sales are starting so look for them on the sale rack!!
