Steal Michelle's Look!

user-pic
michelleslook.jpg The First Lady looked casually chic at an evening of music and poetry in the East Room of the White House this week. Her Asian inspired Basso and Brooke top is a gorgeous explosion of color and design without going overboard in its kitschness.  Bruno Basso and Christopher Brooke, the  Brazilian-British duo behind the brand is known for their mastery of pints and graphics (their first collection comprised of the male genitalia as a print) and often compared to early John Galliano. I love that Michelle Obama takes risks with little known designers. Basso and Brooke is available at Neiman Marcus here. When it comes to white cropped pants we prefer Theory Luke Pants here.

  • I like her top I wonder where I could purchase it.

  • Thanks Tina-I will call my sales person and check. I'll let you know.

  • I would try Brittique.com. It's past season stuff, but they carry it Brit designers, and the Basso & Brooke stuff on the website is currently on sale. They're really colorful designs, and I'm glad Mrs. O is branching out! Her makeup looks gorgeous, too, BTW!
