The last time I wore fringed moccasin boots (yes, I had them-- in white leather no less-- go ahead, laugh!) I was not even old enough to order up a martini. But I thought I was the coolest girl on earth and I wore those god awful boots with everything! Leather mini skirts, jeans, you name it I wore it! I'm ashamed to say I even had matching white leather earrings (I was 19 and it was 1989, White Snake was on MTV round the clock-- can you blame me?!). Thankfully I grew out of those boots and all things fringed (don't even ask about my fringed black leather jacket, I cringe, I cringe about the fringe!). Apparently fringe is back in a serious way and I am not getting on the bandwagon this time around. They just look so... Bon Jovi?!?! What do you think? To fringe or not to fringe?

  • I say "fringe." I have this weird dream to be in Tibet where they wear these all the time. :D

  • NOT to fringe. I really prefer clean lines or girly ruffles. But then again, I really don't think I can pull the fringe look off.

  • They were cool back in 1989 and I say it's okay to fringe again!

  • LOL...Tina---I too had the leather fringe jackets (in white and black)EEEK!! and white leather fringe boots....(Oh how I loved those boots)

I like the fringe, But for my daughter who's 23-not for me anymore.
