Stefano Pilati celebrates 10 seasons at YSL with a capsule collection for Barneys New York he calls “New Vintage”. The line consists of 60 pieces used entirely from excess YSL fabric leftover from the last 10 years. He says it is a “a general attempt to give a sensibility and an education to our public so that it can act consciously toward its environment.” The New Vintage collection of 60 or so pieces, including handbags and shoes, is priced at $500 to $2,400, with an average price point of about $1,000.
