I don’t know about you but my relationship with fashion is inversely related to my age. When I was 20 I wanted to wear Ferragamo sweater sets (serious grandma clothes!) but now I am really into interesting and edgy designers (and you’d have to beat me with a wrought iron stick to get me in a Ferragamo sweater set!). Rick Owens is fast becoming one of my favorites. His clothes are always different without being ridiculous. I’m currently obsessed with his leather jackets, cut on the bias with a meticulous fit that is never too tight. It’s a fine balance and one that Owens does perfectly. For Fall, his elbow winged cropped leather jackets tempt me most– especially in distressed grey (I got a white one for summer). It’s rebellious and punky with an urban chic flavor.
