I discovered Donna Karan’s magical personal touch yesterday when she tailored a dress for me without pins, needles nor scissors. I tried on a purple dress and it was a bit wide and long on the bottom. She looked around, asked for pins but no one had any. So she did what any brilliant designer would do– she bent down on one knee and knotted up the dress from the back and said “There! Now you even have an extra draping back here to enhance the backside”. In a single swift motion, she transformed the dress on me!  Who would have thought of that?!?!?  Donna then showed me how small shoulder pads instantly make me look taller and my waist smaller amongst other must know tips that I will share with you when I post our interview.   I came home in a great mood that prompted my hubby to ask, “what did you do today?”. I merely replied, “I played dress up, with Donna Karan.”
