Who wore it best? Jessica Simpson vs. Sienna Miller vs. Claire Danes

I love embroidered/sequin jackets even though I get the feeling that everytime I wear one of my black embroidered boleros, cardigans or jackets people think I'm paying tribute to Michael Jackson (I've had this problem pre his passing as well). Above Jess Simpson is pictured on the cover of the September issue of Glamour and Claire Danes is pictured on the September cover of BlackBook in the same Gucci Fall 2009 ombré spotted pattern silver and black embroidered spencer jacket that Sienna Miller wore to a recent movie premiere. Miller's head-toe matchy-match is way too much for me and I'm not feeling the whole bathing suit, belt, sequin deal on Danes. I think Jess Simpson rocks the looks -- love it with jeans and a white tee (just wish Glamour hadn't airbrushed Simpson's face and body so much..jeez! Magazine covers are getting seriously ridiculous lately).

Who do you think wore Fall 2009 Gucci better?

  • I agree with you. Jessica looks great with the jacket. Sienna looked weird because she used the pants, too. And Claire's look is too dancer-costume.

  • I agree it looks great with jeans and a white top. Claire Danes is very artsy fashion that you wouldn't wear but Jessica Simpson could go just about anwhere with that look. And I'm not even going to coment on the matching look.

  • Jessica's outfit is definitely the most wearable, but I totally have to agree with the airbrushing comment... Seriously, it looks more like Heidi Klum than Jessica Simpson. Airbrushing needs to settle the f down.
