Balenciaga Spring 2010

Not that I won't miss the lady-like Balenciaga 'Edition' pieces but I am so glad Nicholas Ghesquiere is back to his street chic sensibilities for Spring 2010. I started buying his skinny skinny pants in 2000 (back when I was 89 pounds-- pre-baby, pre-marriage) and I still have several pairs I will never give up!  I squeeze my fat bum in them and they still look somewhat decent, after almost 9 years!  This is the difference between skinny pants from Balenciaga and skinny pants from Forever 21 (those F21 skinny pants I was obsessed with this summer have already fallen apart).  The looks above are what I plan on getting, am attracted to that hoodie for some reason, not that I need to hide from anyone but I like that I can cover my face.  Call Kim 212-206-0872 or email her at Balenciaga in NYC and she'll send you a look book, too.  She is amazing (Nina Garcia introduced me to her!) and she can find just about anything Balenciaga.  Make sure you tell her Couture Snob sent you :)
