If you have not heard of Jane Aldridge of Seaofshoes.com by now you must be living in some fashion hellhole. Jane is the most adorable and talented teenager I have ever seen and has been featured in Vogue, Elle, and many other publications (and hello Chanel is dressing her in haute couture for the Crillon ball!). How did a 17 year old hone her style at such an early age? The apple, as they say, does not fall far from the tree. One only has to see her mother, Judy Aldridge, to know where Jane cultivated her love of fashion from. I recently discovered Judy's blog, Atlantis Home, and am now addicted. Her style can only be described as fabulously eclectic because she looks so very different in each photo-- from vintage to her own creations, Judy looks timeless yet totally in tune with current trends. You'd almost think she's from another era if it weren't for the latest Givenchy or Louboutins on her feet. But she's not merely good at throwing clothes on and looking nonchalant chic-- she's also really good at DIY, too. As in making incredible skirts, jackets and shirts from random t-shirts she has collected for 20 years. And you should see the Christmas ornaments she made using her daughters' photos. Crazy cool! I hope she will eventually launch her own collection of ready-to-wear-- I'll be first in line! I'm meeting Judy and Jane for lunch tomorrow, am so looking forward to hanging out with this stylish mom/daughter duo!
Meanwhile-- check out Atlantis Home blog here.

Thank you for the intro, what a find! I love the photos of Jane, exquisite!
I've been reading Jane's blog for a while now, her mom looks very cool and what fun they look like they're having together.
Tina I checked out the blog when you mentioned it a while back...very fabulous ladies I think...cant wait to hear about your meet!
Isnt there an even younger blogger that has taken the fashion world by storm?!

Okay, that would be Tavi and I don't know much about her but all the editors in NYC kept asking me. Think she's 13 or something? She was on the cover of a magazine and it gave her instant notoriety.
I've been a fan of theirs for a while now. I like both of their chic, causual, and edgy style. I think Jane is an abosultely adorable teenager with a fabulous sense of style, but again with a mother like Judy, she is born to be a star.
Not only are they fashionable, they are incredibly beautiful, too! Tavi is cool, too. She's funny.
