Rupert Sanderson is collaborating with Karl Lagerfeld for Spring 2010– the second season running with fashion maestro. After the massive success Rupert had with the Autumn/Winter 2009
collection for Mr. Lagerfeld, Rupert welcomed the chance to work with
Karl again.
This season, Rupert completely re-interpreted two of his best selling styles Asteroid and Finesse. To give the shoe the futuristic update that Lagerfeld wanted for his
collection, Rupert decided to design the shoe with his fashion-forward
geometric heel, inspired by the Italian architect Gio Ponti. The ankle
straps have also been altered so that they loop around under the sole
and are bolted in place, giving the shoe a highly dominatrix feel. This
