Eduardo Lucero (above) designed Kelly's rehearsal dinner dress 6 years ago (Happy Anniversary Kelly and Rich!) and I've been dying to get something custom made by him for years.  After seeing his runway pieces at LA Fashion Week (yes, there is one and Rodarte started there so keep your grunts to yourself) I think I need the ready to wear, too.  Am proud to see local LA designers with such a chic line-- I have seen Eduardo's work firsthand and he really knows how to enhance curves and hide flaws.  His clothes are sold at his showroom by appointments only-- 7356 Beverly Boulevard, (323) 933-2778

Louver (Louis Verdad) (above and below) is another rock star on the LA fashion scene (favored by Madonna). I bought a few things from his website 3 years ago but they stopped selling clothes out of the blue.  I guess it is really difficult for these smaller designers to stay afloat (even more reason to support the talented ones!).  Verdad is spot on with his easy chic LA glam girl pieces, gold lame tank tops and one shoulder dresses will be equally effortless on Sunset strip or Rodeo Drive.  Check his website for to buy info.
