As much as I love Gossip Girl I just can’t understand Serena’s clothing choices –maybe we’ll get lucky and her car crash will knock some style sense into her!? Though given that even getting involved with a Senator didn’t do anything to curb her uber-uber minis, it seems unlikely (I so wish Blair was the one to get with Tripp; I could totally see her having so much fun with her outfits if she were dating a politico!). Above Lively’s character Serena is wearing the Nanette Lepore ‘Darjeeling’ Dress ($378), dress? Really?? That’s a dress?? Anything that will expose your butt when you sit down should not be considered a dress! Even as a top though I’m not into this piece. Between the shinny silk puffy sleeves and strap across the chest and the sequin and bead design it looks very tacky in a Jersey Shore Guidette kind of a way — eeck!
