I’ve been observing the media hype over Rodarte for Target and have kept quiet on the matter until I saw these photos. As much as I love Target and am insane for Rodarte, I am not that impressed with the line. I’ll probably pick up a lace cardi and maybe one of the dresses. I mean I know you can not compare a $4,000 jacket with a $40 dress but still, the line looks really cheap. What about you? Are you buying into the hype? Will you be lining up at Target to get your paws on Rodarte? Jump for more pictures!

I am looking forward to checking things out and trying them on. If there is something I like I will buy it, but I certainly won’t be wearing Rodarte with Doc Martens and white round sunglasses! I’ll adapt it to my style.
It looks cheap. Forever 21 would do a better job. Rodarte should do a true RTW and fix the sizing to make it more accessible. Target pricing doesn’t work for them
I personally don’t like the way they styled the pieces, but on their own, many of the pieces are gorgeous. The slip bow dresses, the leopard print lace dress, and the lace cardigans are all beautiful.
