No matter which way you look at it, this dress is a winner. See how it molds to the body without being too tight? Sexy, subtle, just superb!
The only people I can imagine in this dress is Ivana Trump or Joan Collins. And I am a HUGE fan of Lacroix! Just not this dress.
i actually liked the dress she wore to the golden globes...maybe more for the color and detail...but i like that she took a risk...and wore something a little "different"

I read somewhere else that she actually saw that dress in a window, loved it and that's how she came to be wearing it at the GG's. In that case it seems she could use a stylist's opinion now and then.
I think she was lovely at the Golden Globe!! The dress looked stunning on her. And the colour,-vavoom!
The Donna Karan thing does not look as half as good as the Lacroix..

She saw the LaCroix while shopping and fell in love with it. No stylist in sight. She usually doesn't use one.
I have to agree with the other readers. The Donna Karan dress is so wan and kinda boring. The Lacroix was different, but in a good way. The color and texture were both interesting.
I actually like the Lacroix dress, too. Detailing is awesome.
