This is totally random but when I saw this dress I thought, this will be so cute on my friend’s 9 year old daughter– than I saw the price and realized it’s meant for grown ups!? So the color is pretty and the beaded bodice could be pretty without the ribbon belt but I can’t get over the multiple tiered skirt! I realize this is meant for a much younger girl than me but an 18 year old would not be able to afford the price. Seriously, where would a grown up wear this to? My god daughter’s ballet recital seems appropriate but then I’ll just look like one of those desperate old ladies trying to pretend they’re still 5. I usually like Haute Hippie but this is way too costume-y for my taste. Halloween, yes. Chic cocktail party? No. What do you think? Would you wear this (tiara not included).

Ohhh I think its so pretty! I think is all about giving it some edge, pairing it w/ fierce ankle booties instead of cutsie pumps and bang! Fashionista heaven! In the ballet-ish dresses is an improvement from that pink mess SJP wore some years ago remember? But after all you are the snob here #imjustsaying

I’d definitely wear that. Minus the belt of course. I agree with the first commenter, give it an edgy vibe and it will look fit for an adult.
