Elizabeth and James Mason

I just bought the Elizabeth and James Mason ($354) pumps in pink at Intermix the other day (they were actually on sale in the NYC Soho shop for just under $300). I love the contrasting piping and the prominent platform. They’re a smidgen higher than I would have liked (4 3/4″ heel with a 1″ platform), and they’re definitely a touch kitschy/Barbie-esque, but they’re surprisingly comfortable (mostly I’m surprised because as much as I love Elizabeth and James clothing, it’s pretty cheaply made). The heel also has a triangular shape which helps draw attention to what would otherwise be a fairly straightforward pump. Plus the price isn’t bad (at least not when compared to the four-figure Fendi pumps they were next to!), and they’re easy-to-wear.

What do you think about the Mason pumps? Are the colors to bubble gum for your taste?

  1. don`t you find those colors a bit too bright and shiny for a pair of shoes?
