The Draped Tee Hides a Multitude of Sins

drape_tee.jpg

I remember when I used to wear teeny tiny little midriff baring tops out to dinner (pasta no less!).  I was 23 years old and never thought about things like “back fat” or “muffin top” over jeans (I didn’t even know these words existed).  Well, flash to many many years later and it’s ALL I think about!  Which is why I’m really into draped tees right now; you can belt it, roll it, or let it hang, it’s just so flattering and hides so many sins (especially stomach bulges)!  If you find a good one (like this one at Intermix) draped tees can be figure forming and slimming, not saggy.  Obviously it’s more productive to eat less and exercise but at my age I’m more about enjoying fine wine and good food than being the skinniest bitch on the block (Kate Moss said nothing tastes as good as skinny feels but I have to disagree).  Thank god for draping!  What about you, how do you hide flaws?
