Antonio Berardi: Dress to Impress
By Couture Snob Tina

You may have wiggled through your fair share of bandages, twirled in countless full skirts, and even strutted in a few Dolce & Gabbanas like you were Anita Eckberg herself. But you really have not worn a dress until you find yourself deliciously encased in an Antonio Berardi. I don’t have to tell you I’ve developed a slight Berardi obsession.

Not only do they look great – classics designed with enough elements of interest to make you want to wear the same dress again the next night – but they are designed to perfection. They all fit as if each panel was hand-sewn to mold to your curves and nobody else’s.

And now is the perfect time to make a Berardi your own, as it’s spring sale time. I can’t decide which I prefer: the flirtatious box-pleated royal blue frock with a regal cut-out neckline or the floral-embossed, pencil-skirted number, the would-be uniform of the classic femme fatale.

Box-Pleated Stretch-Crepe Dress on Net-a-Porter for $870 (from $1,740).

Paneled Stretch-Twill Dress on Net-a-Porter for $1,277.50 from $2,555.

Pair with: Christian Louboutin‘s sharp-looking, two-toned “Mago” shoes will bring direction to any dress. A mile-high heel and scooped-out pump style are so flattering they are worthy of a Berardi cocktail look. At Barneys New York for $795.
