When we were little girls, it was so exciting to put on our new spring dresses every Easter. Not much has changed! And why should it? 1. Pastel Belle: Pastels have transcended their image; they are now for the edgy, as well as the girly. Flaunt a subversive blend of innocent colors with Marni’s mint-green skater sheath and Jil Sander’s patent-leather clutch (the pairing is so matchy, it’s rebellious!) and inject a youthful twist with wildly floral-print pumps by Nicholas Kirkwood.

2. Here Comes the Sun: Put a femme-fatale spin on fashion’s most cheerful color. Yellow looks both sultry and perky, thanks to this silk-chiffon and crepe body-skimmer by Hakaan. Don’t be shy with your accessories – you’ve gotten their attention, you might as well keep it. Inject a bold print with Giuseppe Zanotti’s sexy, striped pumps and Charlotte Olympia’s seashell clutch – her black suede is anything but boring.

3. The Lady Who Brunches: No lady can go wrong with some Oscar de la Renta in her life. Set the sophisticated tone for brunch with his crocheted silk dress, a confection of coral and ivory, and push it over the edge with Valentino’s red-hot peep-toe pump. Finally, finish it off simply with a nude clutch, courtesy of Victoria Beckham.
