Maison Martin Margiela’s fuschia number ($1,225) is a fantastic update on the Pink Lady classic bomber jacket, but silky pink bombers need some edge to toughen them up. Step into black tapered leather pants ($2,380) – the cuffed legs give you nice, flattering lines. I don’t recommend wearing skintight leather leggings (just because I mentioned the Pink Ladies doesn’t mean this is a Grease revival!). A striped city-chic Proenza tee ($280) will be the perfect way to break up the shiny-ness of the jacket, and then finish off with McQueen’s black lace-up De Manta clutch ($995) – urban, cool, and tough as nails.
