There were so many beautiful dresses the night of the Costume Institute Gala that it's hard to pick just one favorite. I've been going through the looks over and over again -- so refreshing to see so many nice looks for once (I was completely disappointed by the Oscars and all the other recent award ceremony fashions). It was a close call between Jessica Biel in Versace, Kate Moss in Marc Jacobs -- obsessed with her gold turban --I have a sneaking suspicion that we'll soon be seeing a turban trend and Kate Beckinsale in Marchesa. In the end I've settled on Beckinsale's Marchesa as my favorite. The embroidered midnight blue gown is absolutely dreamy and I love all the ruffles. Growing-up I always imagined myself getting married in an opulent Vera Wang gown (how original I know...), but since Marchesa came along I hope that whenever I do get married it will be in one of their dresses -- perhaps even an off-white version of this number!? What was your favorite Met Ball look?

This is hands down one of most stylish (and normal) outfits Rihanna has ever worn. She looked amazing at the opening of Derek Lam's New York City boutique on Wednesday night (I was supposed to be there as well but a family emergency kept me home-- thankfully I didn't go as my hubby encouraged me to do-- a mother's instincts!). I am obsessed with white suits and just picked up the white trench from Tod's at the Derek Lam party in BH last month-- I feel like a superhero every time I wear it! I love how she accented her summer chic Derek Lam suit with a leopard print blouse, bright red lips and oversized sunglasses. The only thing I don't like is her hair but she is a rock star afterall and needs to express her creativity even in a fabulous designer suit. I hope she continues on this chic path but it's probably too much to hope for (as I saw a photo of her in crazy cutout leather leggings yesterday after the party).Buy Derek Lam at Shopbop.com or stop by his boutique on 10-12 Crosby street 212.966.1616

I think both dresses are winners-- what do you think?

It may be more appropriate to say who wore it worse! It saddens me too because this dress was designed by Nicole Miller. I grew up wearing her designs -- even wore one of her dresses to my Bat Mitzvah! Miller has a nice place in my heart, but this gold/silver, bling bling number-- woah! Way too much and it cheapens both of these lovely blondes. Ironically I do think it would look cute on a young pre-teen fashionista. The dress is available in ivory and navy ($475). What do you think -- snob or slob and if snob, who wore it best?

H&M does such an amazing job marketing their clothing -- I can't believe how many celebs have been spotted in Matthew Williamson for H&M! The second shipment of Matthew Williamson for H&M is hitting stores May 14th and New York Magazine has got a preview of the looks. I'm not a fan of the men's stuff (though truth be told pretty much the only menswear designer who can use color in a way that I like is Paul Smith). I do think some of the women's items look hot, especially the bathing suits. I went to H&M the day the first shipment arrived, but by the time I got there (around noon), all the good stuff was gone. All that was left were tops similar to what Miley is wearing along with matching cardigans and cheap looking pink studded belts. Unfortunately I'll be in Barcelona the day this line hits so I have no chance of snagging any of the covetable items in the line (unfortunate because I really want that one piece bathing suit!) -- Will you be lining-up when the second shipment hits?

Who is Kendra Wilson again? I can't remember anything these days... I am thinking she was one of the girls that lived in the Playboy mansion with Hughie, but let me know if I'm wrong. Anyhoo, this is a really adorable dress, I'm just not fans of either girls wearing them. If I really have to choose, I'm going with the blondie. Simply because she doesn't look like she's falling out of it but somehow both of them make the dress look cheap. These draped dresses are difficult to carry off if too tight!

I'm drooling over these fuchsia-colored Loubies Sarah Jessica Parker wore out in New York City recently (by the way did anyone else hear the news that SJP is expecting twins from a surrogate? So wonderful her and Matthew Broderick make the cutest couple!). Anyway, back to the shoes! They're Christian Louboutin Bow T Dorcet in Fuchsia ($895) -- such a classic. This pair is so classic in fact that I bought a similar pair way back in 2003 (see below). There have obviously been countless versions of this shoe over the years, but this style and fuchsia color are on a whole other level -- they simply make SJP's feet glow!

Oh my, head to toe in the latest trends does not a fashionista make. Or does it? Check out Beyonce in distressed denim trend from J Brand worn with a burnout distressed tank, YSL cage shoes and a Valentino bag. I like them all individually, but thrown together it feels a tad too busy. What do you think? Snob or Slob?

I am obsessed with Prvcy Premium jeans, the strategically placed pockets are so flattering to the bum that everyone looks like they have the backside of a 16 year old! But that's not all that's great about the signature Life Line pocket design representing FAITH, HOPE and LOVE, it is a symbol of the company's continued fight to find a cure for Breast Cancer (I like the white stitched pockets best). PRVCY donates up to 10% of all sales to various Breast Cancer Organizations year round. Now if that's not a good excuse to grab a pair of these jeans I don't know what is. The secret in the perfect fit is also in the blend of cotton(72%) and elasterlle (28%), they're super forgiving even if you've indulged in one too many lattes. Get your PRVCY Premium jeans here!
Eva Longoria is probably the cutest actress over 30 but can she pull this off? Embracing the rising temperatures last week, Eva donned a floral Gerard Darel pantsuit and crochet handbag. She ordered both the feminine silk jumpsuit and handbag straight from the Parisian fashion-house and usually wears the French designs with style but this time I am having my doubts. Eva's 'Syracuse' crochet bag is a new and never-been-seen larger version to their classic style - a summertime favorite of Cameron Diaz, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, and Emmy Rossum. But moi, I'm not a fan of crochet bags. Perhaps the jumpsuit would be better served with a differend Darel bag. Thoughts? Snob or Slob?
