I live for those shopping days when you just find everything you want, in your size, at decent prices. I had one of those days in Milan recently when I literally found something fabulous at every store I entered (many at half off!). After my satisfying spree at Trussardi in Milan, Anji and I walked to Giuseppe Zanotti (one can not go to Milan and not buy Zanotti shoes!) where I found this pair of insane platform slingbacks in abstract camouflage print. They had my size (very difficult to find my small size in Texas, where large feet roam) and with the exchange rate plus VAT return it was almost 15% less than buying them in the US! I've never liked camouflage anything (other than on my 5 year old) until I saw these shoes, the abstract print is soft and neutral-- a great shoe for the season and really comfortable due to the high platform. Must have in every color! Giuseppe Zanotti Camouflage Platform shoes here

Yes I'm a shoe snob but that doesn't mean I don't love a great shoe at a bargain price!
Lucy Liu is one of my absolute favorite actresses (who doesn't miss Ling & Ally McBeal!?) and she's known to mix up high designer goods with bargain finds (love that!). She showed up for an appearance on Good Day NY yesterday in a Max Azria dress and killer "Kerbow" pumps from ALDO-- $100 never looked so good! My friend Wendy at Nitrolicious.com loves Aldo and though I have never bought shoes there, I'm thinking this might be my first pair. The "Kerbow" has the season's must have basket weave in black or nude suede and sexy fierce heels with a one inch platform. Have to admit, I cringe when I have to shell out hundreds of dollars for super trendy shoes, perhaps Aldo is the answer? The nude looks great on Lucy but I think I'm going for the black version. I have never bought shoes there so I don't know how the full sizes work since I'm a 35.5, do I go up to a 36 or down to a 35? Anyone an expert at Aldo shoes??? Aldo "Kerbow" shoes here.

My heart skipped several beats when my friend Sasha (aka Fashion Director of US Weekly)
forwarded photos of these new shoes from YSL spring collection. We are busy moms with demanding careers yet somehow, we always find time each day to discuss our mutual shoe and bag obsessions (don't tell the hubbies!). Everyone needs a friend like Sash, she tells it like it is and always seem to know what will work better for me than myself sometimes (especially when I get blinded by the excitement of the moment!). I was contemplating a pair of very expensive shoes with chunky heels and she talked me out of it-- she said I am more "refined defined" (once you know her you are able to decode Sasha language) and sent this pair as a more "Tina" option. And you know what, she was right! This is more my style and something I'd wear often to luncheons and cocktail events. For some reason YSL shoes just fit my feet well and this boasts 5 inches with an almost 2 inch platform so I know it will be (fairly) comfortable!I'm also dying over the rose and the vine heel, so insanely chic! I don't need to explain why this color will go with everything in my closet, do I? Plus the flesh tone will make the legs look longer, it's the perfect shoes for spring! Don't bother looking online for it, it just arrived and will probably sell out quickly. Call our boy Eddy at Bergdorf Goodman 212-872-8940 and he will gladly send them to you (tax free if you're not in NY). Or email him if you're anti-social and hate talking on the phone.

I'm obsessed with Lucila Iotti shoes! The super sexy shoes are designed by Iotti in her hometown of Buenos Aires where her father, Jorge Iotti, began his tailoring shop in 1920 (the designer has a boutique there as well...can't wait till March when I'm in Argentina to check it out!). Iotti uses a variety of colors and textures (patent leather, suede, satin, vinyl...) -- her shoes are definitely not for the shy. They're bold, loud, and demand attention, but paired with a LBD and some confidence they're simply magnifique! On a side note, Patricia Field has been a vocal admirer of this brand, so I wouldn't be surprised if one of these shoes make an appearance in SATC II:-) So far the shoes are only sold at the boutique in Argentina, but email info@lucilaiotti.com with the name of the style you like and they can mail it to you via Fedex (prices start at 710 pesos which is around $540).

What do you think about this collaboration? Snob or Slob?
I live in my Givenchy peep toe booties from spring, they are so well worn that the paint on the front has chipped off! It's one of the things in my closet that instantly make me feel good when I put them on no matter my mood. I do have a small issue with mine, though. The zippers go straight up to the top of the ankle and make it hard to walk sometimes so I have to unzip it halfway but then it sometimes will unzip all the way if I'm walking too fast. The fall version is way more practical, having the zippers on the side will solve my issue! it also looks more streamlined. Hum... should I replace? Decisions! Givenchy Peep-Toe Ankle Boots

Christian Louboutin sale on the Outnet.com tomorrow! There will be 60+ styles at up to 70% off. Need I say more!?!?!?!?
Check out Christian Louboutin Shoe Sale Tuesday August 18th here!

Holy crap, is this the most awesome shoe you've ever seen or what? Like, they are literally, Killer Heels. Do not get within 5 feet of me if I am in a bad mood. Hmmm, these would be good when I'm pissed off at my husband, he'll steer well clear of me. You gotta look close, these are not pyramid studs, these are serious super sharp pointy studs that will cause real damage. You put these on and it does not matter in the slightest what you are wearing on top. You can probably walk around in your bra and underwear and people (when I say people, I actually mean girls) will be like, "Great shoes!". At Saks Fifth Avenue for $995.
It baffles me how Donna Karan accessories do not translate to its ultra chic line of clothing AT ALL. I mean look at these shoes-- do they remotely resemble anything that should go with any of the outfits below? Most designers make shoes to go with their dresses but this is clearly not the case here. Donna, please, I beg you. Stick to your beautifully draped dresses and leave shoes to the likes of McQueen, Louboutin and Zanotti (and rid yourself of your accessories designers and/or stop licensing out your brand!). I mean yeah-- they're reasonably priced (kinda) but they look like they belong at F21 for about $10. What's wrong with them you ask? You don't have eyes? Do I need to spell it out? The hideous faux croc skin, the cheap lugged sole, awful silver studs, bizarre buckled strap and on and on and on. All at Bergdorf Goodman. And oh my god, don't get me started on her bags. It's midnight, I'm tired and need to hit the sack (you won't read this til tomorrow morning.)
So, what do you think? Am I just bloated and bitchy (from a heavy meal at a Turkish restaurant) or do you agree? Snob or Slob?
The best booties for Fall have arrived and I am dying to get my feet in them. First, Alexander McQueen Peep-Toe Ankle Boots ($1155) with skull zipper pull and hidden platform. Love the foldover flap detail with small buckles, I don't like the way ankle booties feel against the front of my legs and leaving it open is genius! I love the open toe booties, makes it versatile in the warmer months, too. This will be hot with a little dress!
Giuseppe Zanotti Zip-fastening Ankle Boots ($975) is also punky and fun with multiple zipper details but is best saved for Fall.
Rupert Sanderson Khyber Cutout Sandals ($975) is less bootie than sandal but still has the edgy look. Now this will go with anything, including black tights in the winter.
