I am so excited about the opening of Vera Wang's boutique today, it's enough to make me want to hop on the next flight to the city and shop to my heart's content!

The space is conceived as a white-box theater, with a double-height proscenium stage at the front, the middle stage down the steps, and the backstage areas toward the rear.

The architecture is designed to not upstage the collection; rather, it is conceived as a subtle, neutral backdrop to the collection, which remains the centerpiece of the space.



As with everything Vera does, I am certain this will be amazing. The 2,500 sq ft boutique will stock all of Vera's fabulous signature ready to wear, Lavender label, fragrance and accessories (I can't wait to get my hands on the bags!!!)
